Jaymee Li Moore Crowned 50th Miss Indian Arizona

Jaymee Li Moore, from the Colorado River Indian Tribes in Parker, Arizona was crowned the 50th Miss Indian Arizona on October 8th during the 50th anniversary of the Scholarship Program.  Jaymee is the 20 year old daughter of Lynette Stevens and Jonathan Moore and attends Northern Arizona University.  She is working toward her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Applied Indigenous Studies with an emphasis in Policy Administration.

Jaymee also won the Evening wear and Community service awards. Her interests are kayaking, hiking, travel and to further her understanding of music composition. Her platform is to promote youth leadership through higher education.  She states “Higher education is not for a select group of people.  Everyone is equipped to obtain a degree whether it is from a vocational or trade school, community college or four year university.”
